Bay Area Layoffs Expected to Soar Above 44K This Week

Layoffs in the Bay Area are expected to soar this week, according to notices filed with the state’s employment office, and those notices show more than 44,000 jobs will be cut. Construction, hotel, restaurant, retail and movie theater jobs top the list. Kris Sanchez reports.
