Bay Area Relatives Worried About Those Stuck in Hurricane Odile

A quick get-away to Cabo is turning into a nightmare. A Category 3 hurricane ripped through Baja. The international airport in Cabo is now damaged and shut down. Major hotels have also been evacuated. Tourists and locals are now scrambling for safe shelter. NBC Bay Area’s Cheryl Hurd reports from San Jose airport where she spoke with worried relatives. Meteorologist Jeff Ranieri then has has the hurricane forecast.
