Rain To Clear For World Series Game

If it rains, the game might only be postponed for 15 minutes.

Despite Wednesday morning rain in San Francisco, the weather is expected to clear by 5:07 p.m., when the Giants play the Detroit Tigers in the first World Series Game at AT&T Park. Christina Loren reports.

Despite the cold and rainy start to Wednesday morning, Giants fans fear not!

NBC Bay Area meteorologist Christina Loren said that the weather should clear up for the 5:07 p.m. first World Series game  between the Giants and the Detroit Tigers at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

The sun should peek out by the afternoon, and if anything, showers may affect the game by "15 minutes, maybe," Loren said. Temperatures should be in the high 50s in San Francisco at game time.

Morning showers were felt throughout the Bay Area in the early morning, but Loren said the last wave of moisture should end by the afternoon. After that, the skies should dry out and give way to a warmer weather pattern for the rest of the week. Saturday and Sunday should even be in the high '70s.
