Berkeley Council to Vote on Pepper Spray Repeal
Berkeley leaders on Tuesday may repeal a new ordinance allowing police to use pepper spray during violent protests. Council members in September approved that ordinance. The vote overturned a Berkeley ban dating back more than two decades. Since that time, concerns have been raised about the health effects from pepper spray.
