Police activity in Berkeley. (Aug. 2, 2022)
Police late Tuesday afternoon shut down several streets in Berkeley while officers search for a possibly armed suspect.
The search took place in the area of Channing Way and Curtis Street, according to police. The suspect was found hiding in the crawlspace of a home on the 1100 block of Channing Way, police said.
