A big-rig carrying 16,000 pounds of boxed avocado overturned on northbound Highway 13 just south of Joaquine Miller Road in Oakland, the CHP reported.
An alert of all lanes blocked issued at 6:30 p.m. remains in place. The CHP is instructing drivers to use alternate routes.
