Body Found Submerged in Guadalupe River Near Downtown SJ

Fire crews and police responded Friday to reports of a body submerged in the Guadalupe River near downtown San Jose.

The body was in the water near Hedding Street and Ruff Drive across Highway 87 from the Hall of Justice. The area is known for its homeless population.

The cause of death is under investigation.
