Hercules fire officials ordered evacuations in the areas of Crab Apple Court, Stone Pine Court, Eucalyptus Knoll, towards I-80, and an immediate evacuation was ordered for a portion of Zonehaven Zone HER-003.

It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the fire.
