A bus on fire is blocking the Avalon Drive off-ramp and three lanes on northbound Interstate 280 on the border of San Bruno and South San Francisco Friday afternoon.
All northbound lanes on Interstate 280 are open after they were blocked for a couple of hours due to a bus fire on the border of San Bruno and South San Francisco Friday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol issued a sig alert at 5:44 p.m. after the bus caught up in flames around 5:30 p.m.
Passengers were escorted off the bus and picked up by another bus and there were no apparent injuries.
No additional information was immediately available.
