Cellphone Thefts Reported at Oakland BART Stations

Cellphones were stolen right out of BART riders’ hands twice this weekend at BART stations in Oakland. Officers arrested a 15-year-old for stealing a phone on a train at the West Oakland station. Someone else snatched a phone from a rider waiting for a train on the platform at the MacArthur station. The suspect got away.
