Experts Sound the Alarm on Possibility of Extreme Fire Weather in Bay Area

While it’s been a welcome change to see rain in the forecast, for the overall drought picture its arriving a little too late. Climate researchers are sounding the alarm that wildfire activity may continue to be extreme for the Bay Area. NBC Bay Area’s meteorologist Kari Hall talked to UC Berkeley wildland fire scientist Scott Stephens about why his team thinks we all need to prepare now for an active fire season.
