Thousands of dollars from collection plates were stolen from a Sacramento church on Easter Sunday.
The Arden Church of the Nazarene on Arden Way was targeted, Sacramento County sheriff's deputies said.
Just after a service, someone made off with the money.
Church officials said $15,000 to $20,000 is missing.
Sheriff's officials said two women in their early 20s were caught in a locked office at the church.
The women said they had permission to be there. But before that could be confirmed, the duo took off.
