Cooler Finish To The Weekend, Showers Lurking South

Cooling Ahead For The Weekend, Showers Lurking South: An increasing onshore breeze will bring our temperatures down as we move through the weekend. Inland highs will be mainly in the 70s to some 80s further inland with mainly 60s around the coast and bay. Subtropical moisture streaming out of Southern California will try spilling closer to the Bay Area later today especially for areas south of San Jose and Livermore. There doesn’t appear to be quite enough moisture to warrant shower chances yet, but a stray shower or two south of these areas is possible late in the day. If you’re heading to the Sierra, areas south of Lake Tahoe will definitely have a better chance for some showers and isolated thunder through the weekend.Enjoy your Saturday! – Rob Mayeda
