Report to Detail Oakland City Council Member's Ethics Violation

The Oakland Public Ethics Commission on Tuesday is expected to announce that Lynette Gibson McElhaney broke city ethics rules in 2014 when she interfered to stop construction of a housing development proposed to be built next to her home. The commission is scheduled to present that report during a special meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at city hall.
