Firefighters are battling a 40-acre brush fire Wednesday evening on Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory property, according to Cal Fire.

Fire crews have controlled a 50-acre brush fire that burned Wednesday night on Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory property, according to Cal Fire.

The wind-driven blaze was reported about 9:15 p.m. in the 15000 block of Corral Hollow Road, officials said. The area is southwest of Tracy and east of Livermore.

As of 11:20 p.m., the fire was fully under control at 50 acres, Cal Fire said. No injuries were reported and the blaze did not damage any buildings.
