Names Surface in SJPD Chief Search

The public is invited to four public meetings in the search for a new San Jose police chief to replace outgoing Chris Moore. Two sources told NBC Bay Area that “two names have come up more than once as potential new chiefs.” Those names are Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer and Sacramento Police Chief Rick Braziel, who is set to soon retire from that city.
