NBC Bay Area’s Garvin Thomas sits down with one of the organizers of the Day of Remembrance. Feb. 19 marks the 70th anniversary of the executive order that led to the internment of more than 100,000 Japanese Americans. Hiroshi Shimizu was born in one of the camps. He shares his experience.
