Warriors Fans Celebrate in the Streets and Meet Players at S.F. NBA Championship Parade
It was a celebration befitting a basketball dynasty: a parade to honor the Golden State Warriors’ fourth NBA championship in the span of eight seasons, and the first since the team’s move to San Francisco. After the Dubs’ victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 last week, the team organized a parade down Market Street, complete with marching bands, dignitaries, and 1.5 tons of confetti. Countless fans lined the sidewalks — and ultimately flooded into the street — for a chance to party with their favorite players.
