Contra Costa County crews responded to a fire in Pittsburg that burned seven acres. Officials noted that despite no evacuation orders or damage, its too early in the season to have a fire of this size.
The Contra Costa Fire Department has stopped forward progress on a vegetation fire Monday, officials said.
Crews battled a second-alarm fire in the 700 block of West Leland Road in Pittsburg. The fire burned approximately seven acres.
No damages have been reported and no evacuation orders were issued.
