Oakland Security Guard Demand More Training, Hazard Pay and Safer Working Environment

Oakland security guards are demanding more training, more hazard pay, more healthcare benefits and a safer working environment. A rally of more than 100 security guards comes after a double-murder suicide in San Jose where a security guard was shot and killed while trying to stop a domestic fight. Security guards say the pandemic has heightened violence against their fellow workers.
