Police Report a Total of 95 Homicides in Oakland This Year

It’s been another deadly week for Oakland. A total of nine lives were lost to shootings starting with three homicides on Monday, another shooting on Tuesday and a body found in a van on International Boulevard. On Friday, a robbery of a Brinks truck ended in a shootout leaving one person dead and two others injured. Two other deadly shootings took place Saturday. There have been 95 homicides in Oakland this year, police said.
