Students, Teachers Rally to Save Majority Black Oakland Charter School

Teachers and students of an Oakland charter high school that helps older minority students re-engage in school rallied today in support of keeping Civicorps Academy from being outsourced, which would mean classes as students know them would be slashed. The charter school is one of two majority Black charter high schools in Oakland.
