Effort to Create Curb Space for Uber, Lyft in SF

An effort is in the works to create dedicated curb spaces for Uber and Lyft drivers to pick up and drop off passengers in San Francisco. The SF Examiner received documents revealing that the areas have been narrowed down to spots in Hayes Valley, Inner Richmond, Inner Sunset, Marina District, Noe Valley, North Beach and SOMA. Sources tell the SF Examiner that one or two will be part of a pilot program. If successful, the program could go citywide.
