San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin Remained Silent After Questioned about Criticism from Police, Citing “Lack of Consequences” from DA's Office

During a press conference held at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, NBC Bay Area Senior Investigative Reporter Bigad Shaban questioned District Attorney Chesa Boudin about criticism coming from top leadership at the police department, accusing Mr. Boudin’s office of being too lenient on criminals. After the question was asked, Mr. Boudin remained silent. A few seconds later, a spokesperson for Boudin’s office made her way to the podium, saying “we’re going to move on to another question.”
