Former Supervisor Angela Alioto to Run for SF Mayor

San Francisco’s Board President London Breed will be acting mayor following the unexpected death of Mayor Ed Lee. A special election will be held on June 5. Breed hasn’t said whether she’ll formally run for the job, but at least a few others have announced. On Monday, attorney and former supervisor Angela Alioto said she will file election papers on Thursday. Her father, Joseph Alioto, served two terms as mayor starting in 1968. Former State Sen.
