Four-Alarm Fire Burns Squat & Gobble

Firefighters battled a four-alarm fire early Friday at a popular restaurant in San Francisco’s near the inner Sunset neighborhood, which jammed up Muni travelers and caused two minor firefighting injuries.The fire at the Squat & Gobble, at 9 West Portal Ave., was first reported at 4:40 a.m. Christie Smith reports
