Scott McGrew’s Gadget Friday this week is the Automatic. It’s a $70 device which plugs into your car’s data port (if you have a car built in the last 20 years, you have one). It works in tandem with your smart phone to deliver data about your mileage and driving habits. It’s available for pre-order now and ships in May.
