Got Chocolate Milk? San Francisco Schools Say No

Chocolate milk will no longer be served during lunchtime to elementary and middle school students in San Francisco. District officials said the decision is based on kids consuming too much sugar during school hours. The district tested the chocolate milk ban at five schools last year. School officials said it resulted in students switching to regular milk without complaint.
