High School Student Gunned Down in East Oakland

Oakland Police say 17-year-old Ditiyan Franklin Jr. was shot and killed this afternoon near the intersection of 80th and Bancroft Avenue in the Castlemont area of East Oakland. The teen was about to graduate from Castlemont Leadership Preparatory School. NBC Bay Area’s Cheryl Hurd reports.
