Independent Review Challenges Findings in Adachi Death

An independent review of the death of San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi challenged the findings of the city’s medical examiner. Adachi’s death was originally deemed an “accident” due to “acute mixed drug use.” But an attorney for the Adachi family will be releasing three reports that contradict that claim. The reports say that the autopsy shows that Adachi’s death was a result of natural cardiac causes.
