‘Miraculous:' Driver Safe After Car Reduced to Mangled Wreck in San Jose Crash

Miraculous – that’s how San Jose police are describing an early morning crash. Police said it happened around 2:30 a.m. near Bascom Avenue and Naglee Avenue. Authorities say this was a single car crash. One lieutenant says when he drove up he thought this was going to be a fatal wreck. When officers showed up they found the driver sitting on a curb, talking with witnesses.The driver has only minor injuries and is being checked out at the hospital.Police are working right now to figure out what led up to the crash.
