Morning Fog, Mild Fall Temps

Areas of thick fog and some spotty mist started the day for most of the Bay Area. We’ll see gradual clearing to hazy sunshine inland with highs mainly in the 70s to near 80 in the warmest spots inland. Coastal locations will likely see low clouds hang on into the afternoon. Temps aren’t expected to change much through Tuesday as we see weather systems passing to the north, tossing some high clouds our way and possibly a few showers to the north of Sonoma County around Tuesday. We’ll see a 2-3 day mini warm up with highs inland soaring into the 80s and low 90s to finish the work week, however don’t get too used to it! By next weekend its looking more likely a deep trough of low pressure will anchor itself just to our west, bringing cooling, clouds and increasing chances for rain in the next 7-10 days. Enjoy your Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
