Between $15 and $40 million are needed to restore the siding of the air field's historic Hangar One, according to the San Francisco Business Times.
NASA is seeking Congressional approval for $20 million to start on the work and U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Palo Alto, is looking to secure another $10 million.
