Over a month after NBC Bay Area first reported a heartwarming story of two firefighters who stopped to replace a fallen American flag in Windsor during the Kincade fire, the two men have been identified. Matt Gomes and Mike Perez say they’re surprised and touched that their act has inspired so many.
