Oakland to Cut Jobs After Loss of Redevelopment Funding to State

The city of Oakland is bracing for another round of budget cuts. This time, hundreds of jobs hang in the balance. Redevelopment agencies across the state will shut down February 1. NBC Bay Area’s Monte Francis says the move is hitting Oakland particularly hard because of how the city uses its redevelopment dollars.
