Groups who forced Dominic Caserta to surrender his Santa Clara City Council seat and withdraw from a county supervisor race over sexual misconduct allegations are now turning their attention to another supervisor candidate. Critics have stepped up their campaign against former San Jose Councilman Pierluigi Oliverio, who previously faced allegations from a staffer. On Friday, Oliverio and his supporters came out to blast the new attacks as “disgusting” and “desperate.” Robert Handa reports.
