Piedmont License Plate Cameras Stir Debate

Is it crime-fighting or a way to keep a watch on outsiders? The East Bay city of Piedmont is in talks to install a dozen cameras that would capture the license plate information for cars coming in and out of the city. Piedmont has seen an uptick in crime, and city leaders are blaming people from neighboring cities. Stephanie Chuang reports.
