A power outage is affecting around 4,500 Palo Alto residents Saturday afternoon.
City officials believe the outage may be because of a blown transformer, and crews are working to fix the problem.
Residents are asked not to call 911 to report the outage, as the city is aware of the problem and dispatchers have no information to report.

"No estimated time of restoration at this point," Palo Alto police said in a tweet.
The outage was reported to the city around 1 p.m.
