Bald Eagle Population Is Flourishing Once Again in California

Bald eagles are soaring again across California thanks in part to the San Francisco Zoo. A new federal report shows the eagle population has quadrupled since 2009. For more than 16 years, the zoo ran a breeding and release program which reintroduced more than 100 bald eagles to their natural habitats.
