Interstate 580 has reopened in both directions at Eden Canyon Road following police activity, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday afternoon.
According to CHP, they shut down traffic for a possible bomb scare but it was unfounded.
BART service was also stopped between Castro Valley and Dublin/Pleasanton due to police activity, the agency said.
CHP Dublin Office tweeted just before 4:30 p.m. that all lanes were reopened.
