SF Recommends Keeping JFK Drive Closed to Cars

JFK Drive in San Francisco may be closed off for cars and open only for pedestrian, bicyclists, roller skaters and joggers. The street closed to cars during the pandemic to provide a space for socially distanced outdoor activities, and there’s been ongoing debate over whether it should remain that way. The city’s park department found most people they talked to want to keep it closed. The Board of Supervisors will have the final say next month.
