San Jose Police Arrest Pair in Double Homicide

A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old juvenile have been arrested in connection to the killings of San Jose teens Christian Comilang and Johnson Cular. Stephanie Chuang reports.

San Jose police have arrested two suspects in connection to the slayings of Christian Comilang and Johnson Cular, who both were gunned down in East San Jose on May 26.

Matthew Clifford, 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested Saturday, police said.

Clifford, a San Jose resident, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of murder, police said.

The juvenile was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall -- also on charges of murder.

Investigators do not suspect the motive behind the killings to be gang related.

Comilang, 15, and Cular, 16, both attended Independence High School.
