Santa Clara K-9 Bites Burglary Suspect, SWAT Arrests 2

The SWAT team is called out to a Santa Clara neighborhood overnight in response to an alleged burglary. Chase Cain reports.

Two suspects were arrested in Santa Clara Thursday morning after allegedly burglarizing a home.

Authorities sent in a SWAT team just before 3:30 a.m. because they thought the suspects had holed themselves inside the home in the 2200 block of Crocker Way, where guns were possibly stolen. It turns out, no one was inside the home.

The pair were arrested by Santa Clara police shortly afterward nearby.

One suspect suffered minor injuries after being bit by a K-9 dog.
