SJSU Testing New Security System

The world of artificial intelligence is becoming a major crime-fighting tool on a Bay Area campus. San Jose State University’s police department has started testing a new security system that can sniff out toxins in the air, identify a suspect on cameras and pinpoint the location of a gunshot. The cameras and sensors are located on certain light poles on campus in areas of high traffic and previous crimes.
