South Bay Woman Reflects on History Making Role in Covert U.S. Operation

A Hmong refugee now living in Milpitas was recruited by the United States at a young age to become the first Hmong trained nurse during what’s known as the “Secret War.” She would eventually use her position to empower other young women. Gia Vang reports.
