A brush fire is burning in the Morgan Hill area Wednesday afternoon, Cal Fire said.
Firefighters say they are making good progress on a fire burning by the freeway in north Morgan Hill, according to Cal Fire.
The blaze started Wednesday afternoon near northbound Highway 101 at Coyote Creek Golf Drive, Cal Fire said. It was at 72 acres as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday and was 75% contained.
Cal Fire first announced the fire at 6 p.m. when it was reported at 2 acres.
