One of the first examples of just how infectious and deadly the coronavirus could be loomed large 10 months ago, when the Grand Princess cruise ship docked at the Port of San Francisco. At the time the ship was the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak. NBC Bay Area’s Thom Jensen follows up with a passenger who fell ill on board.
