UC Berkeley Biochemist One of Two Women to Win Nobel Chemistry Prize

Jennifer A. Doudna, a UC Berkeley biochemist, is one of a pair of women who were awarded the Nobel Prize for chemistry for their development of “molecular scissors” to edit genes, offering the promise of one day curing a host of inherited diseases. Kris Sanchez reports.
