Vallejo Baby Gets New Lease on Life

A Vallejo family is celebrating the rebirth of their 7-month-old daughter. Little Makayla underwent a liver transplant at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. The surgery saved her life…but it came at a heartbreaking loss to another family. NBC Bay Area’s George Kiriyama has the story you can only see on NBC Bay Area.
