Video: Chilly Sunday With A Few Showers

After some really nice views of our early morning lunar eclipse, the rest of the weekend is looking rather chilly with more clouds and possibly a few showers at times later on Sunday. The weather system bringing the chance for showers is looking more and more to dive through Southern California, placing the Bay Area on the outer fringe of shower chances mainly for the coastal mountains and location south of San Francisco. What we’ll all notice is our highs on Sunday being stuck in the low to mid 50s, really very cool with the best chances for showers again being for areas to the south.Things are looking dry Monday-Wednesday before another weather system brings perhaps a better chance for some rain later on Thursday. We should see clearing again Friday into Saturday with possibly breezy conditions kicking off next weekend. Overall our weather pattern remains fairly dry for this time of year, but hopefully these weather systems will provide better mixing of the lower atmosphere (aka winds) to scour out some of the murky air that’s been anchored in the Bay Area of late.Enjoy your Sunday! – Rob Mayeda
